Notes
- This is not Apple Face ID (the web can’t access the Face ID sensor directly). It uses the selfie camera + a JS ML model.
- Identification uses reference photos previously captured to the server and matched locally (descriptors computed on-device).
- Nothing is uploaded automatically; only when you press Capture.
- Camera access requires a secure context (HTTPS) or
localhost. - Biometrics note: face-based time tracking can be legally sensitive. Make sure you have consent, clear policies, and secure storage.
